Liposuction in Abu Dhabi
Liposuction - also known as suction assisted lipectomy - improves your body shape through removal of excess fat between your skin and muscles. Liposuction is not a substitute for a diet or exercise to achieve major weight loss! In our cosmetic clinic we can offer liposuction with 3 different technologies:

Do I need General Anesthesia?
No. The procedure can be done under local anesthesia (Tumescent technique) and sedation. This is the safest technique.
What scars will I get?
The small incisions for cannula insertion are hidden and rarely visible. No sutures are placed.
How fast is my recovery?
One hour after surgery you can be discharged and within 2 days resume normal desk-type jobs. Light aerobic exercises are allowed after 3 days.
What is the aftercare?
To prevent seromas (accumulation of lymphatic fluid) and to support redraping of the skin pressure garments have to be worn for one month.
Other complications?
Patienst coming to us for correction of previous lipo often show:
- Incomplete liposuction with minimal results
- Tissue injury due to lack of knowledge of Surgical Anatomy
- Excessive liposuction producing disfigured appearance
- Irregular skin as result of big cannulas and inattention
- Large scars revealing that the patient had liposuction
How long do the results last?
In the liposuctioned areas fat cells are removed and shape
change is permanent. In most cases of moderate weight
gain the previous problem areas are minimally affected.
What are good areas for liposuction?
Arms, belly, flanks, thigh, neck, knees.
What are the limitations?
Too much redundant skin will need a combination with lifting procedure.
