BRAZILIAN BUTT LIFT

It's a two in one procedure. Unwanted fat is removed from belly, hips and thigh. After processing and enriching it is then placed in the buttocks. Without silicone implants a dramatic change towards a more feminine "hourglass" shape is achieved.

In 2008 Dr. Reuter introduced the BodyJet system from Germany to the GCC. The system generates a strong waterjet which allows to harvest large grafts in a gentle way. With its closed circuit Lipocollector system there is no need to process fat away from the sterile area.
Incisions for the cannulas are 3 mm long and placed in hidden areas. The saline water for the Bodyjet is mixed with local anesthesia and pain as well as bruising is noticeably reduced. This eliminates the need for general anesthesia and overnight stays.

You are a good candidate if:

You have localized fat deposits (belly, flanks)
You are a healthy non smoker
You are able to adhere to the postoperative protocol and have realistic expectations

How long will the results last?
Studies showed that compared with other lipo systems waterjet has a 30% higher fat graft survival rate. Once the grafts are vascularized a life time result is achieved. To compensate for the initial 10-20% of non-take we will slightly over-correct the buttocks.

What volume of fat can be transferred?
Normally between 500 to 1700 ml of filtered fat is transferred to different layers of the buttocks. The deeper grafts will build up the volume. The superficial fat transfers shape the projection.

What is the aftercare?
You will be wearing a customized pressure garment for about 4 weeks. In the first 2 weeks sitting should be avoided as much as possible in order to not affect the shape. Light physical activity is possible after 3 weeks.

What are the risks with Brazilian Butt Lift?
Buttock augmentation with fat graft in our hands has proven to be one of the safest techniques with amazing results. Problems are generally due to inexperience (overgrafting), equipment (dead fat transfers after insufficient/wrong processing) or unsterile "quick office type" procedures.
This might lead to fat necrosis, infection and irregularities.
With proper handling of your living tissue the procedure takes 2-3 hour for waterjet lipo, filtering and placing of fat grafts in different layers.

BUTT AUGMENTATION WITH IMPLANTS

Augmentation with silicone implants is a good choice for very slim patients with limited donor areas. We choose implants also when there is the desire for a very high projection of the buttocks without the wish for excessive volume. The third indication is in combination with a body lift often after bariatric surgery.

The implants are inserted in a pocket under the big gluteal muscle from a mid line incision over the tailbone.
Drains are inserted and a one night clinic stay advised. The after care is similar to the Brazilian Butt Lift but sitting has to be avoided for a longer period.

Certain sports such as horse back and bike riding have to be avoided for up to 3 months.
